Artifact Preservation & Education Initiative

Supporting the caretakers of Ethiopia’s rich cultural history truly begins by ensuring that the people have what they need in order to carry out their oaths to look after these world heritage artifacts. The Artifact Preservation & Education Initiative builds relationships with the individuals and communities that bare this awesome responsibility.

The Artifact Preservation & Education Initiative directly funds the preservation and education efforts at religious institutions across Ethiopia. Projects funded by the Artifact Preservation & Education Initiative include, but are not limited to:

  • The construction of small museums and showrooms.

  • The restoration of cisterns, alters and ceremonial tools

  • Funding guest lecturers and religious festivities

  • Scholarships
